Exchanges, Returns & Refunds
At Akaya, we are committed to providing our customers with an exceptional shopping experience. We understand that sometimes you may need to exchange, return, or cancel your order. Please review our policies below to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.
1. Exchange Policy
- Eligibility: Exchanges are allowed within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Condition: Items must be in their original condition, unused, unwashed, with all tags and labels intact. The product must also be in its original packaging.
- Procedure: Customers are required to ship the product back to us for exchanges.
- Charges: A reverse pickup fee of INR 250 will be applicable.
- One-Time Exchange: Please note that we only offer a one-time exchange per order.
- Process: To initiate an exchange, email us at contact@akayabyritika.com with your order number and reason of exchange.
2. Return Policy
- Eligibility: Returns are only accepted for damaged, defective, or incorrect items received. Returns are allowed within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Condition: Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, unwashed, and with all original tags attached.
- Non-Returnable Items: Customized orders, sale items, accessories, and any altered products are not eligible for returns.

Procedure: To initiate a return, email us at contact@akayabyritika.com with your order number and the reason for return. If approved, we will share further instructions.
Customers must ship the returnable items to our address or a reverse pickup fee of INR 250 will be applicable. - Refunds: Once we receive the returned item and it passes our quality check, we will process the refund via bank transfer. Refunds may take up to 12-15 business days to reflect in your account.
- Damaged Products: Please provide an unboxing video and photos of the damaged product to claim a refund or exchange.
3. Refund Policy
- Damaged or Incorrect Items: We offer a 100% refund for damaged or incorrect items received, provided you send an unboxing video as proof.
- Mode of Refund: Refunds will be processed through a bank transfer and may take up to 12-15 working days to appear in your bank account.

Non-Refundable Items: Items like customized orders, sale items, and altered pieces are non-refundable.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Order Cancellations: Orders can be canceled only within 24 hours of placing them.
- How to Cancel: To cancel your order, please email us at contact@akayabyritika.com with your order number. If the order has already been processed or shipped, we will not be able to cancel it.
- Store Credits: For orders that cannot be canceled, we may offer store credits as an alternative, which can be used for future purchases.
- Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unforeseen circumstances such as incorrect pricing or stock unavailability. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
- Reshipment Policy: In case, a customer fails to take the delivery and the shipment gets cancelled through courier partner or customer, 50% of the total shipping and cancellation charges will be borne by the customer.
